| Removing one hand at a time from the bunch is a
effective method of laddering the ripening of the whole bunch.
Place a hand or two in a container with a ripe apple and that hand will
ripen before the remaining bunch. A plastic bucket with newspaper
on top will do fine.

Banana Pups
To propagate bananas the pup can be easily removed and transplanted to another location.

This banana tree is mature when the trunk is about 4' tall and the fronds are about 4' in length. It has been passed around from one back yard to another for decades. The size of the bananas is roughly half the size of store bought.
